Wow! You European types aren't mucking about - our Delicas would look positively teeny besides those MANs and Mercedes and the other converted lorries.

Great show, great ideas but it'd be worth to create it's own thread 'cause many will miss it if they don't follow the Dino... I'm only 1/2 through and already have mods piling up on my list to do!

I'm sure Dino is going to pieces with excitement!

Can't believe how clean and immaculate this thing is. Actually, yes I can...

I noticed in your problems section that you couldn't get 7" brake hoses. I had a similar problem when I modified a BMW years back and found out that Greenline hoses has a service that makes custom brake hoses! They can do anything, including braided stainless.

Thanks. Golf Cart order his 7" lines there. Apparently it worked out well. A little bit pricey though ($40) compare to $12 for the Russell. Not sure if the Greeline hoses are DOT.
I'll watch our 9" hoses for a while and will see how they hold up. So far it looks pretty good.

I didn't bother to check when I had mine done (as my car was not under the kind of scrutiny that RHD vehicles often are) but they're a major outfit so I'd assume they're DOT. As they're custom you do pay a bit of a premium.

They are . Braided line down to the fittings are DOT approved . But then who gives a rats ass about DOT. They arent the ones sitting in the van running down the hill. They are GC approved and thats good enough for me :-P
