Just got a PM from GtexJunkie of Alberta, he'll be in our guest room, and attending CVI this saturday. Will he be the one who drives the furthest distance for the CVI Show & Tell ?? Christine.

I'm in. :M

I can show how suspension lifts are installed correctly/incorrectly on both L300 & L400's as well as the individual parts & kits for sale.

I have a boost gauge, a pyrometer(EGT) and EGR blanking plates installed that people can look at how it's routed/done.

Plus some other L400 mod's.

- Is it possible to install a PTO? Yes with difficulty. The majority of Aisin Warner Tcases have the angled side port that can be used as in conjunction with a PTO add-on if it can be bought or fabricated. Jeep's, Toyota's, Nissan's, Mitsubishi's, Ford's, etc ... share the inherent Aisin design. Instead of focusing on Mitsubishi Pajero/Delica PTO, a much broader search on the Aisin tcases will net you tons of info on pto mod's

- How affected is a Turbo Diesel by altitude? Nothing compared to naturally aspirated diesel

- Is there a wastegate/dump valve on a l400? Yes. External.

Hi Jesse Jfarsang, look forward to seeing all your L400 mods, and it will be great to have you able to answer the questions. Cheers, Christine.

8-) I forgot to add some smilies to my not so serious questions, but thanks Jesse for pointing them out again.
Green1 will still not agree till his "best Delica mechanics" is going to answer them.

Anyway looking forward to see you guys all tomorrow.

Crasher alert...
Is this just for Deli owners, or can future Delica owners join in? I wouldn't mind coming by and having a look at some vans and get some mod ideas for when I get mine. Thoughts?

Hello all wannabe's, Welcome! This CVI meet is your fastest learning course you can get, within a couple of hours you know how to look to problems on any vehicle, and learn the quaintness of Delica's etc.

Bassnailer, and any others who just think our vehicles are cool, look forward to seeing you tomorrow.

Warning, plan to arrive at 11 and leave at 4 if you want to learn it all, as Butch and Edwin of CVI are doing different teaching classes thru the day, and wont have time to repeat them.

Christine.

Whoops, sorry Mararmeisto, of course you and your Pajero are VERY welcome, after all you do have a delica engine in that delica wannabe. Seriously, if you want to walk on the early ferry, we could pick you up from Tsawassen? Christine.

Na, I'm not coming. I got the Show & Shine to get ready for here in Victoria the next day. Thanks for the offer, though.

LMAO

I think we should have a Deli vs Paj tug-of-war. Someone find a level muddy patch nearby.

Loser washes both trucks.

Yes, thank you to the CVI crowd and family as well as to Christine and Jay for their able assistance. I learned a lot more than I even want to know about Delica's, so I think I'll be leaving most of the mechanical work to the experts.

I'll keep coming back, if only for Marla's mango bars. They were excellent. Marla, you should open a bakery in your "spare" time.
