Super Exceeded is still in the paintbooth tonight. Just got a call from him and he sounds overly disappointed that the delica's paint wasn't finished today as expected. C'est la vie!

He's been working super hard on it all week hoping to be there tonight. I know how much he wanted to be there finally pulling up in his 6 X 6 Delica ;)

There is always the next meet. Have fun tonight & eventually we'll get to a meet in our delica!

Afterwards we went to the French Quarter pub and ate nachos, drank watered down beer and talked some more. These are worth while events to attend, I look forward to meeting you.

Well, despite the below freezing temperatures 20+ Delicas, one Pajero, one Safari and one of these wicked looking camper vans made it to the meet.
It lasted till midnight, so I don't think the meet deserves the word "Mini" anymore.

Thanks for the warm welcome, I hope to take TardisDeli up on their offer of sitting in on their work sessions. I look forward to many more encounters like the one tonight as well, what a great way of interacting with other 'Japanese offroading vehicle owners' (as it wasn't all delica's)

We're hiding something... I could tell you but it's a secret and I would probably have to kill you once I told you. If you're crafty 'though; you could "infiltrate" one of these meets and with a sneaky name like "North Van Adm" no one would even suspect that you were from the centre of the known Canadian universe. By the way, is that "Adam" or "Admiral"?

Falco, you never cease to amuse me. I've only been to two meets...one before I owned my Delica (my wife and I showed up in our white toyota corolla when it was at the McD's in Burnaby) and one at CT in NVan. And a few CVI bbq's if that counts. I would love to "infiltrate" one, but it's a bit far now.
I do however remember seeing pictures the very next day on all occasions.

If you can find another Delica in London, Ont. then you could have a meet, which might be a good idea ~ get some excitement happening back east. As far as photos go there are often pictures being taken but not necessarily posted ~ but looking at pictures doesn't really tell you much apart from who was there, &c.. Being there is where it's at.
