I guess that means you'll have to ask!
Once you get your engine transplanted, would you let me come up there & take a ride in the Stretch? 8-) Please?

Born in 64 in time for the British Invasion. Racking up the klicks on a 91 exeed that I got two years ago. I still love the deli but miss the cool factor from when there weren't so many around. Thinking about maybe moving on to a Nissan Safari.

Every time I come into this thread I look at the pole and it looks like it's trying to tell me something.

Don't worry, Modsquad (I used to watch that show), soon the common one will be the L400 and the L300 will be unique again :-D

Hopefully you're right. Unfortunately I had my eye on them since they came to Canada but wasn't able to afford one while in highschool. :?

The pole seems to indicate that people buy them as they enter a midlife crisis or have kids and then sell them when the novelty has worn off!? Although since they haven't been around long enough for the kids to grow up I think my hypothesis is flawed.

Actually I was thinking more along the lines of a hand gesture, mind you, you might be onto something ~ my little boy is twenty-three. What's with that?

I definitely responded without taking a second look, I definitely see what you mean. I think that means that he's past due for getting one himself!? I'd say that means you're loyal though... 8-)

Hmmm. Erik is 47, born in Scotland, likes motorbikes, freedive spearfishing, a certain slim blonde and long walks in the park.... actually parts of the Death Race and Sinister 7.

Coming up on 2 years with the Smellica. Had a 87 Toyota VAN 4x4 years ago and missed it after I sold it 11 years ago until I got this beast.

It's an almost daily driver in the Winter on the days I don't run to work. Great camper that's been on quite a few trips since I got it. In the Summer I ride a KTM 640 and VFR 800 or I run.

Cheers,
Erik

I am at the middle of the age catagory. Happy to be the owner of the delica and as a member of the club.

Nice to meet you at Ikea early this month too during the Deli meet ,Nick. If you remember me & my wife were chating with you and nice show of your L300. Have you got it raised yet?

I do remember you, it was very nice chatting with the to of you. It still hasn't been raised, I work seasonal jobs while in school so I'm waiting until I have something more permanent before dropping a lot of money into the van. During the spring and summer I plan to do a full overhaul of the interior and a lot of the exterior though.
How is your van coming along?
