Looking good, Nxski... grins.

Falco.

That's a great comparison! They do look a lot like the original Bat-mobile! Now nxski you just need a couple of fins on your roof section, maybe a jet engine protruding from your back window... just a thought :-D

Maybe I should try to get the van used for the movie and then I wouldn't have to pay for those mods. :-D I don't think it's fast enough for a batmobile though.

The floor is coming along well. I'm not a huge fan of the colour of rubber I'm using, I will exchange it for rubber laminate wood flooring when I get a chance but this stuff was free and I can't argue with free. Especially as I needed to get something in place for my off-road trip on this coming long weekend.

I'm loving the bike rack and hitch, finally I can get at my stuff with bikes on the back!

Hitch advertising and new flooring. The flooring came in very handy for offroading this past weekend, it's much easier to clean (even if the colour scheme leaves a little to be desired, but hey, you can't argue with free).

Are you putting the chairs back in?

All of the seats are back in now. I'm going to take the 2 swivel chairs out soon though so I can build a folding bed / couch / table in their place.

Also, just to clarify, I'm only posting NOTICEABLE CHANGES to the vehicle, it is being regularily maintained and everything that needs repairing is being repaired as it comes up. I just spent over $1000 this month on replacing worn out componants on top of my upgrades. I just thought this should be mentioned in the event that, god forbid, I should think of selling the vehicle and this thread is viewed, and also to quell the "chrome won't get you home" posters :-D

Thanks! Which Plywood are you talking about? The 'bulkhead' has nothing under it, the sides are MDF and the top is plywood. It will be a stand for my hinging subwoofers and will butt up against the couch / bed / table. The floor is actually made of MDF, it all comes up as one peice and has nothing under it (the rubber acts as sound-proofing and lots of dirt gets under there as I noticed when I pulled up the carpet so it also provides easy access to the underside for cleaning).
