Actually it kinda does.

Your enthusiasm is great, when you aim it in the positive direction.
Thank you, and in this case it was aimed in a positive direction...

(note that I avoided insulting you because it's not productive and is not aimed in a positive direction)

EDIT:

"Even though it is physically impossible, I insist on parking in spots that are only 2" longer than my vehicle and I could not possibly imagine parking in a larger spot. THEREFORE your tire carrier is implicitly crap. /smiley" <-- useless drivel and sure to drag the thread away from where the OP was hoping it would go. trollish even"

This is definitely not what I said. The parking spots I park in are in busy crowded areas so typically if I want to find one they are small and I need as short of a vehicle as possible to get into them. Therefore, for me, the tire carrier would not be a good solution especially since I have lots of space on the roof for carrying cargo. I already stated that I like the clean simple design of the tire carrier and that it looks great. Why you need to find every reason to attack me is a mystery but I think you might want to take a pill for now and if you feel like arguing show up to the next meet and do it there instead of bothering the people on this forum with your dribble.
Thanks

Thread direction

Sometimes a thread can veer off course.

Either you took a wrong turn or the wind blew the Delica off course :-D

Normally, once the majority of traffic is diverted to the 'Thread Direction' side road, moderators will put cones on the 'Thread Direction' road to redirect the thread back to the 'Original Post Highway'.

It doesn't always work and traffic starts piling up in the 'Thread Direction' side road.

Sometimes the workers (moderators) are on vacation or taking a lunch break and allow traffic to keep flowing on the side road.

Sometimes a disgruntled driver takes matters into their own hands and blocks the 'Thread Direction' road. It gets backed up and when a long stand still ensues, the Moderator foreman is called in to resolve the situation.

Sometimes a new side road is created and re-directed back onto the 'Original Post Highway' while other times, the foreman may just blast a section of the 'Thread Direction' side road along with some unsuspecting vehicles.

In the end, most of the time, traffic flows back onto the 'Original Post Highway'.

Well, al'right then.

You know ~ sometimes I take the 97 when I'm going north. Other times I take dirt. It's really hard to go off topic in a thread that's all about going off topic. It's the only thread in the site dedicated to "off topic". If you want to post in here about leaf springs then there better be really good mud slinging action to go with it*, otherwise post in Delica Canada Technical, this thread is one of the ways we keep the other threads on topic (even though some people try otherwise from time to time). Consider The Last Word Café as Delica Canada's sandbox... smiles.

So... how about them Canucks, eh?

You know I was listening on the radio to the post game show ( Canucks ) and I really strongly dislike the host that was on 1040. He was almost blaming Luongo for the loss, ok sure Luongo didn't play great but I'm sorry much of the team hasn't been playing well in Boston. It is a Team game and seldom is one player in control of the teams destiny.

The Canucks are having a real hard time dealing with how the officiating is sucking so bad, IMO. It is getting to them it seems from my perspective but still I feel the Canucks are favoured for game 7 .... as long as they get at least one of the injured players back that was injured tonight.

I think Raymond has a compression fracture... just an educated guess which is too bad because prior to game 6 I was thinking it was going to be his breakout game.

go canucks go!

I saw him get folded up in the corner after the puck had left the scene ~ I thought he had a broken back, it looked nasty. I would have thought it would have been safer to carry him out on a backboard. Odd how when our guy does a late hit he gets banned from the rest of the series (and the guy he hit was there tonight, remarkable recovery from such a bad concussion), yet when their guy does a late hit he doesn't even get a two minute penalty.

Anyway, the prophets at EA Games have spoken (in October, last year), there is only one more thing that transpires ~ Canucks take it in game seven on home ice. So far their (EA) record has been flawless.

Is it just me or did Luongo look like he wasn't even trying?

I'll tell you one thing, could you imagine what will happen if they make those lopsided calls on Wednesday and the Canucks lose due to penalty goals? Oh my ~ it's going to be remodelling time in Vancouver.... Ultimately, I think it has been psychological warfare ~ we're going to cream them on Wednesday, should be interesting either way.

Falco.

They both slid into the boards and he was at an awkward angle. It happens. It wasn't a hit, let alone a direct late hit. Not even in the same galaxy as Rome's hit on Horton. Comparing grapes to Mangoes.

I would be hard pressed to grasp how much money is trading hands over this series.

Luongo may well have been politely asked to push this series into game 7 along with a few others.

Each game means millions +

Grapes and mangos sound very appetizing! Maybe too close of a comparisson as they're both fruit!? :-D

FalcoColumbarius wrote:So... What about "Comet Elenin", the brown dwarf?

There is this amateur Russian astronomer by the name of Professor Leonid Elenin who has discovered, on the 10th of December, 2010, a rather large comet coming toward Earth. Apparently he has made certain observations as he has been monitoring it: Every time the Earth, the Sun and the Comet line up we experience an earthquake (Japan, New Zealand ~ to name but two). Not much talk about this. There is talk, however that Elenin might be more than just a comet, that perhaps Elenin is a brown dwarf and somewhat larger than has been admitted.
