Can anyone tell me how to get the rear side speaker covers off. Where are the screws? Silly question I know but before I snap and break the cover, perhaps someone can enlighten me.

Thanks
Todd

I figured it out. Hidden behind the carpet are some more screws. Now about that dash speaker on the passenger side. What the hell? The right one was a cake walk...

You might have more luck posting a query to the technical forum for your particular model of Delica (L300 or L400).

Replaced left front lower control arm bushing, inner CV boot and inner CV axle seal.
Then replaced the leaky rear diff pinion seal and rear tranny output shaft seal.

Next I get into the Super Select system and replace the offending switch that makes my ABS error code in 2WD.

I received a used trailer hitch receiver from a fellow Delica forum member on Saturday. Within a few hours I had a fresh coat of semi gloss black paint. A few hours after that I had it mounted on my Delica.

Curtains held in place with strong magnets hot-glued to the plastic window trim and funky-saying backpack buttons (couldn't find steel disks to sew in place more magnets would have cost too much).
I have some rear curtain tracks for a high roof Delica kicking around if you decide to switch out your magnets. Maybe magnets work better though!?

I just changed out my fuel filter and rotated my tyres.

The tyres were a bit tricky: I had had them replaced in December last year and told the tyre guys that I wanted them torqued to 100 ft lbs, which they did and the service was excellent but I think their pneumatic wrench was set much higher. When I first went to loosen off the lugs I used my half inch drive and couldn't budge them so I broke out my tyre star, get two arms into it ~ no go. I decided to use my torque wrench as it has more leverage. At first it slipped over at first effort as it was set to 100 ft lbs so I upped the weight to 110 ft lbs ~ still tripped. Upped the weight to 120 ft lbs and reefed on it and the lug turned. Once I'd loosened off all the lugs I got my neighbour's mini two and a half tonne floor jack to lift MLB's aft end onto the stands ~ no problem. Then I had to get under the front axle. Man that is some reach! Lying on my belly, arms stretched out and pressing down on the lever. What a work-out!

Got the job done and had a bath in Epsom salts, went to bed. Woke up and walked like a stick man for the next couple of hours. I think I might just invest in a decent floor jack with a longer lever.

I have the longer lug nuts with a bit more thread and always put a bit of never seize on the studs. No they've never loosened off but the odd time they seem to tighten up a bit.

Put a dual USB charger port above the fuel release. Image

I finally got my winch installed after 6 months of trial, error and modifications. Now I just need something to try it out on.

got my camper/cargo organizer mostly done. Two pull put drawers and some storage around the wheel wells. The middle seat is able to still rotate 360 degrees to face forward, backwards or either side, I had to sacrifice drawer length, but well worth it for my needs.
I usually drive with the van seat sideways, and stow some gear and a folding table tucked neatly away behind it.
To make the bed I rotate the seat forward and it folds back and even with the drawers.
When the middle seat is rotated forward, I have it in its furthest back position for maximum passenger leg room, and I push my drawers forward up tight against the back of the seat, then another piece of wood fills that gap.
I've got a few changes I'll make for the second version, but for now this will work quite nicely for summer festival season!

Well, I got my three and an half tonne floor jack for $120.00! To celebrate I greased my nipples (all ten of them)!

Well sadly as I left for work this morning..... all I could do to my L300 is look at her as if she was my sick kiddo, just laying there still, unable to move due to some head problems. I just reassured her everythings gonna be ok and hopefully get her back on the road by next week. :-)
