Yeah, they put us in a room with all the head scarves and "terrists". I always knew they were evil, but I didn't know how devious they were! Some were disguised as babies and small children: I sat right next to one that looked just as cute and innocent as my own son and about the same age (16 mo)- only browner. I don't know how this "Bin Laden" pulled it off, but I couldn't see through his disguise, and I was sitting right next to him and his (supposed) grandmother! Another was disguised as a third generation American citizen. She had the fake accent and forged paperwork to prove it. Good thing Amerika's finest were on the job! It was surreal and people in the room were scared. Then I realized It was the barking, uniformed goons with the guns that had the real stink of fear all over them... It's sad what that country has become.

Been around Superior before - yes it is a beautiful trip, but we were running out of time and that route and the trans-Canada looked too slow; so we crossed the border at Sault St. Marie. The border guard was smiling, polite, friendly, a real treat to deal with - apparently no record of our prior refusal (what a nice country) and drove across the Michigan upper peninsula and Wisconsin and picked up I 94 in Eau Claire to make some time. The whole fiasco added more like three days to the trip for us. And yes, thankfully, the ac was working!
Forgot to add- we crossed the border on our way to Boston at Peace Arch with no problem and drove right across the States. Just went Through Niagara Falls to London to visit family on the way back.

cc autos next year for sure.

Thanks again for the great day and opportunity to meet more of the Islanders, and the good food, and the great test drives (Don't believe everything RMI tells you... I kept it under 7000rpm :-D )
