Good to note.
As well, I plan on replacing my TP every month or so since I do
put some mileage on it. Figuring that you add a liter of oil also
puts some fresh stuff back in it. Maybe add some of the
'Powerup' or additives 2x a year (since an oil change occurs 2x
a season changing from summer to winter synth).

Its not on a Delica but...I just finished my install of an Australian made Jackmaster toilet paper bypass filter on my Hilux Surf. I won't go into install details since they don't apply but thought I'd post up just in case anyome was interested in their units and wanted to see some pics. I thought the quality of the included couplings etc was pretty nice and the install went smooth and easy...just time consuming as EVERY place a wrench was needed required some serious wrist contorsionism! (sp?). If it wasn't for the awkward wrenching the intall would take ~1hour...ended up taking me ~3hours but that includes finding my tools and cleanup. Super easy!

Quick note to self, don't do in the dark.
Can be frustrating (the positioning of my filter is cramped
and inverted). I think it was more me being worried
I didn't put the clamp on the unit correctly afterwards.
Anyway, it's on there.

Whilst I was messing around I noticed my rugs under
my floor to floor rubber mat were wet. Shucks.
I pulled it up, put the heater in the van overnight
with a fan. Might reposition the fan this morning and
keep
it going. No rust or anything, just wet wet.

Drumster, after all of this discussion, which type of bypass did you end up going with? You mentioned that you liked the Amsoil dual remote. Did you go that route? If so, did you drill and tap the threads yourself? Where did you end up mounting the unit?

A conclusion to your story would be appreciated!
