I don't know what kind of sleeping bag you have .... I doubt very much you have experience anything remotely close to -46.5C.

Canadian Forces Recruit School, December 1988, Cornwallis, NS: -40 C (-52 with the windchill) - and yes, we slept in sleeping bags, in canvas tents. Those of us who didn't put their boots into their sleeping bags got to walk around the next morning without lacing them up - they were froze solid.

Had a look at a couple of those too, but couldn't find any weight rating. Just the front of the delica is around 3000lbs, so they would need to hold way more than an ATV. Let me know if you find some suitable for heavier load.

Lower Fraser valley, BC ..... yes.

Alberta ........ no way (Oct - April). Last Dec/09 - edm dropped to -46.5C one night; coldest place on the planet that night.

I've spent some time in sleeping bags in tents in the freeze.
I remember getting a new tent for Christmas, some 4 season
sierra designs one, having to put it up in the backyard
in a typical saskatchewan winter evening then sleeping in it.
My wife said she would join me, she was back in the house in 25 minutes.

Some people have fun in the cold. Shouldn't surprise
anyone that we have those people here on the website.
Icefishing, Ice Climbing are a few of my favorite things.. multiday
adventures.

the fiberglass is light and good for sand. Heavy with mud. not for bridging. Letting air out of tires and carpet can do a great (Cheap) job, needan air compressor too.

A chainsaw works well, some chain and you would have a freeway.

More work has been done over the last few weeks:

Sound dampening.
Some electrical updates.
New wheels and ladder.
Re-arched leaf springs
New rear lift block.

Looks AMAZING!

I wish I was you. I also wish I still lived in BC so I could bribe people like you and Jay with lots of BEER to help with upgrades.

Only 4 maybe 5 more years of school and then i'll be back!

Keep the updates coming. I'm loving it!

When you go ahead with such a great mod just linking to your blog isn't good enough, gotta put some pictures here for the lazy ones! If you guys are at all curious, I was with Felix when he took his headliner out and insulated the inside.

Have you noticed how much head room you gain right behind the front seats? That's what I'm talking about!

Now how about a nice wood panel headliner similar to what I had in my trusted Splitty?
