We have diverse warranty program for the stock delica/other diesel jdm vehicle buyers, based on customer’s location.
 It covers basically powertrain ( 1 year/12,000km whichever comes first ).
 We don’t like Lubrico Warranty, but no choice but to take it currently.

1. Metro Vancouver
a. Our shop basic warranty ( no extra charge )_ includes parts and labour coverage up to $1,000 per each claim.
b. Our shop gold warranty ( $500 charge )_ includes parts and labour coverage up to $1,500 per each claim.

2. Outside Metro Vancouver
-- 1year/12,000km Lubrico Warranty.
-- If the customer wants our shop warranty, he can get it by paying off towing fee involved.

** Detailed coverage items are shown to the customer at the time of purchase contract.**

We serviced your L400 ( You are covered by Lubrico warranty now. ) last time free of charge ( appro. Over $1,500 value ) as you are living in rural area with only population of 49 and no mechanic there and I felt sorry for your hassle.

It was possible to service better because you drove it to my shop in New Westminster with patience.

whoa ok so i just bought my van from you guys before christmas, so my warranty will be basically useless to me when i get my van back to Yellowknife. towing a van 3000kms is completely ridiculous. great. i guess i will be doing more digging through the fine print to find anything at all helpful.

ah yeah i guess i have to hope nothing major goes wrong in the first year or so. most problems up here occur because of the cold, and that lubrico warranty doesnt warranty against freezing, so im kind of SOL anyhow, its all good. My jeep never had a warranty so i guess i really dont have a reason to get too worked up

Unfortunately it is impossible to give our shop warranty to customer in remote area due to towing cost/other shop’s market repair cost over there. So third party warranty is only option for us technically.
But most our customers have been back for regular service when they are here in west coast, getting some complimentary service most of the time.
Your L300 has been serviced well by CVI under the last 3 years’ previous ownership(MitSurfbishi ), and we replaced timing belt package, water pump, all power belt, new radiators, new brake system and fixed even small oil leaks this time.

FishTank - allow me to draw you back. I got stopped today at West Edmonton Mall by an asian lady (quite cute actually)that was in love with my van. She stopped me as I was driving to ask me what it was and where I got it from because her and her husband are very interested in them.

Another one to spark conversation: What music preferences do we have here in Deli-Land? I have always been a Punk Music Lover. I have seen some amazing bands in my days (The Ramones, Bad Religion, SNFU, Social Distortion, AFI, etc.) and have loved several bands which I would call Alt-Rock (Pearl Jam, Foo Fighters, Nickelback - totally kidding on that one). I am right now getting into a band called the Cobra Skulls. Interesting like Rockabilly Punk. I also really like Brit-Pop (like Oasis, RadioHead, Blur) and enjoy some Johnny Cash. BUT my daughter who is 20 months old likes to listen to top 40 pop crap. It soothes her to hear the calming sounds of T-Pain's robot voice and other recycled pop drivel. Well today I actually caught myself driving and singing along to LMFAO "I'm sexy and I know it". I instantly became upset by two things: I knew all the words, and I think I was enjoying it! Gross.

Anyone care to indulge me in their musical tastes? What are you loving to listen to right now? Any favorite cruising tunes
? One of my favorite songs to be listening and driving to is Angry Again by Megadeth. Or when I need some calming music for rush hour I listen to Dean Martin and Frank Sinatra. I have eclectic tastes.

I am currently listening to Ray Lamontagne, his version of 'Trouble' and 'Crazy' are my favourites, Dave Matthews Band is always sure to be on my playlist along with some Rammstein. Yes, my tastes are a bit eclectic too.

Yeah totally. My big three canadian punk bands were The Smalls (which has helped me enjoy Corb Lund as great chill out music now), SNFU (pretty much the most amazing live shows ever. The lead singer Chi Pig always did something awesome every show), and the first ever band I went to see - The Dayglo Abortions. That was a crazy show. In an old church turned night club. I was in grade 10 and my friend drove me into the city to see it. The opening band was a band called the Lambs. They all looked pretty scummy but the lead singer wore a trucker hat and hip waiters, nothing else. He sacrificed a toy lamb fiiled with hopefully fake blood and threw it up to the roof where it left a disgusting red stain. Then when Dayglo came on their drummer made everyone wait mid song so he could finish rolling 2 joints, one for him and one that he threw into the middle of the mosh pit. I jumped off the late 80's early 90's rap train and became a punk after that.

I really enjoy Dave Mathews and Jack Johnson now mostly because of my wife and the not so secret crush she has on both of them. I have a theory that to pick up and round the bases with a lady all you need is Jack Johnson and some Gin. Panty remover. Anyways, I digress....

FishTank- That Pumped Up Kicks accoustic is really sweet. Great song either way. I throw on some Duhast every now and then as my last name can be substituted in. Even more fun to sing along. I enjoy City in Colour- they are a nice change of pace.

sfd_656 - Some of the best songs that get stuck in your head are from Ski/Snowboarding/Skateboarding videos. I never really appreciated the joy of Motorhead until I became a snowboarder. Some of my all time favorite Skate/Snow videos are shot in Vancouver. The Whiskey series of videos were amazing. Like Jackass, but with cooler music, drunk clowns, pranks, and amazing snowboarding/skateboarding.
