You know I have read this thread and in my option it should be REMOVED. It has turned into nothing more than a bitch off, with the focus on bashing people until you guys find a different target then you move on to someone else. As far as I am concerned this is a HUGE black mark for this forum. It does not contribute anything good.

Step off soap box

The reason this thread was created in the first place was to work as how an overflow bottle works for the cooling system. The idea was originally mentioned by another member, suggesting a "water cooler" thread. One of the reasons this thread has arguments in it is because they were originally in other posts in not only the General Discussion forum but L400/L300 Technical and other forums. Currently, we have got it so any discrepancies are brought up in the LWC and not in other threads, sometimes we still have to move posts.

So, if we remove the LWC ~ unless certain members stop arguing ~ you will find this kind of thread in most of the forums on this site.

Falco.

Sounds more like a contest than promoting chit chat.

There are a number of princesses in here that innocently stoke the drama fire on a frequent basis throwing courtesy out the window including the creator. I myself am guilty hand over fist in slagging amongst the bunch of potatoes. You guys (admin/mods) let it go on and on, so it's become a permanent dish on the delica menu. A thread like this with no rules opens up the dark side of the force.

I vote to delete the 64 previous pages and start fresh again...with all new arguments and dishings...

That way we can still argue and the dicktators can still get lots of site views ($$$$) and most importantly no one accidentally reads 64 pages of this garbage (including this post) .....

WIN WIN !!!!

Winner winner chicken dinner!!!

(Sorry about the vote I know this site is not a democracy)

Its like whatevah just don't bite it.

I wouldn't get too worked up over this site. Delicas are so crappy that all the ones in Canada will be broken down and slag piled within the next 6-7 months and everyone will leave delica.ca and be over on gettinghiinmyhiace.com.

Look over to the left. This thread is a sticky Image

That's why it gets daily attention.

Combine it with the creator being the administrator and using this as a dumping grounds, it's just one big catfight Image

The forum managed fine without this thread before 2010 8-)

And the forum had much less drama before Feb 26, 2008.

Can't we just give all these arguments a rest and go back to how the site was in the first place. A great place to make friends and find helpful advice. Now I generally stay clear of the forums and just pm people. I dont need to feel special by arguing and over posting.

Mine was sarcastic too ! :-D That's one problem with the dark force of the keyboard. The Tx transmitting emotion/whisper/shout more often than not gets Rx received incorrectly. Chalk that up to the invention of emails, chat rooms and forums ! We did get along and still do for the most part. 2010 was the year of the cash cows in this forum.

At least the fights here generally have some thought put into either side (except anything from Green1 of course). Anyone here also visit the forums over at RedFlagDeals.com? Its a fruit salad cornecopia of dolts and ftards over there.

Check this thread out. I get flamed and called a moron from multiple people for suggesting that those cheapy chrome tube truck sidesteps should not be considered nerf bars. Feel free to post up in that thread in my defense lol.

Sure you're not Green1 in disguise ? haha.. that thread you linked is pure Green1 ! :-D

What works in other forums is a chat box. It's only there to shoot the shit when people feel the need and doesn't stay and get poopier like this thread.

If this entire thread was axed, it would be no loss to the forum. Zero useful information in here including this post.

(** CRUNCH!! **) ... sound of conversational gear change...

Speaking of weird things, anybody ever driven one of these yet?

http://www.microcar.org/carspecs/daihatsumidgetII.html

Seems like a 4wd version of this (they were/are made this way) could be half way between an ATV and a Suzuki Samurai.

If you get stuck, you just step out and lift it over the obstacle yourself 8-)
