Looking for old post pics - deli hearsts...
Anyone recall them? I hunted through my pics on my computer and hunted through all my old posts but to no avail... I'm esp. looking for the pic of the black deli that was used somewhere overseas to carry the dead - said something like "body van" or some such... Anyone...?

Happy Day!

He was going to call up Babu and ask him if he had run over those two guys to drum up business

That appears to be a First Generation Delica (T100), evidently in Thailand. It looks a little too compact, not sure.* The Delica didn't start donning the dip in the base of the forward side windows until the Third Generation.

I remenber the post that you are referring to Scott. The deli is owned by a lady from England and she was busy camperizing it .I think it was one of the tradesman deli with no windows on the sides. And no i can't rember her nane. Good luck Jay Tardis Deli

I thought that it looks like a KEI van, suzuki carry or every van. I guess comfort for the passanger is not really an issue. I think it was Angie from mitsubishidelica.com who also had an l300 that was an undertakers vehicle.

X2 it only has 4 bolt wheels not 5 bolt like a cargo or 6 like a 4x4Manitoba deli wrote:I thought that it looks like a KEI van, suzuki carry or every van. Re: Looking for old post pics - deli hearsts...
This bit in the wikipedia link makes me think Gen. 1 deli:
In March 1971 a slightly facelifted version,
called the Delica 75, arrived. This (the T120)
received a small grille rather than the naked
metal front of the earliest Delicas...
I agree the bus does look a little small, but how big were those early ones?
Or maybe the guys in the pic are just really BIG!

I still think it's way to small to be a Delica, but who knows how big the first generation Delica actually was.

still think it is a Mini Truck as it only has 4 bolts on its Rims.
