ok, just bought some lead lights, they are DC powered. Can I cut the wires and run the Delis AC current to the lights without a power coverter?

What is a lead light? The only thing I could find is this: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Leadlight
Are you up for a crazy mod with your windows? 8-)

He must be trying to wire them directly into the alternator BEFORE the diode bridge! Now that's going to be a tricky mod...

This sounds easier then welding two Delica's together and adding a wing of a Piper! :)

You should get a shop that has experience in electrical installs. NOT your local service garage or even a stereo install place. Go to someone who will not just chop into the harness, but get the right plugs, etc. and do it right. I have talked to people who have had the car catch on fire because of bad electrical installs!!!

As someone who has a background in electronics and who has rewired entire cars, I tell you this!
