Hi everyone,
I am actually looking to get a JDM Jeep Cherokee and have been running into trouble trying to find an appropriate insurance company to cover more than just liability. After searching the web I ran into this forum and saw a few discussions on the subject.
It's still a bit early this morning, so I have to wait until 9:00 to call a local Cooperators office to see what they offer.
I am looking at getting the RHD XJ because I'm pretty familiar with that vehicle already, currently own one, and have owned another previously. Also, they seem to last pretty much forever, even when abused. (I've accidentally had water sucked in to the engine on my '98, more than once... oops...)
Anyways, I just wanted to pop in and give my pre-emptive thanks on the tip about Co-op. ;)
You guys are helping more than just Delica owners!

Re: New guy - not actually looking for a Delica...
I found when I called my local Cooperators the agent didn't really know how to do everything, she tried to have it a new VIN assigned and stuff.
I found calling the guy in Canmore, getting the quote, then having him transfer the quote to the local office was much more effective. Michael might get a bit annoyed with it after a while, but if the local office isn't sure what to do, give him a call.
