Good morning,

I need to do some front suspension work on my Pajero. It wonders like crazy (Any ideas?). Any suggestions for places to take it on Vancouver Island?

Thanks,

Where are you located? It's still a pretty big island? And what do you need done? Bushings? Arms? Shocks? With the parts, a reputable shop should be able to manage, and don't let them get anxious about the location of the steering wheel.

I have no idea what it could be, but isn't the famous CCAutos on Vancouver Island? That would be a good place to start.

I have been chasing the "Pajero wander" for 2 years now!!! I have changed the tie rods, the sway bar bushings, all four shocks to KYB Gas A Just, and I've had two alignments and added a Rancho steering stabilizer........ very annoying and expensive. however I will say that there was a large improvement after the shocks were changed as my factory ones were totally shot. The Rancho steering stabilizer was also quite an improvement. I found the shocks and stabaizer at Lordco. $120 for the S/S and about $360 for the shocks.

my upper and lower ball joints all seem to be fine with no play so the next thing I will do will be to swap out the super expensive power steering box. I will let you know how it goes once I've changed it

please keep us posted with any of your finidings

cheers
CJ
