Hi Nick, No No don't do it. There are so-o-o many problems that happen with non oem glowplugs, the most common problem is the tip isnt manufactured to the exact temperature specs so starting is a problem, but when that tip overheats and falls off (kinda like a tip a glowing cigarette falling off) it falls into the engine and poof engine cylinder jams, engine self destructs. ouch. Butch at CVI has one he keeps as a sad example for people to see. Just get the real mitsubishi oem plugs. And, must replace all 4 at same time, don't cheap out, as they age they can alter voltage due to breaking down with age (tho they still appear OK) and then poof, engine destructs. Can get proper plugs from Butch at CVI, or John at RMI Rocky Mountain Imports (great website), or Glen at CC Coombs Country Autos, and others.

Hope to see you again soon. Christine.

Turns out I don't need new glow plugs after all. Butch works magic and was able to get the belts to stop squeaking as well. I'll definitely buy the original OEM ones in that case when I do need them. There are some places I like to cheap out but not when it comes to the wellbeing of Hermione 8-)

Will you be out to the Meet next Sunday or the One in mid March?
