Best waterproof tape?

I'm putting in some squishy rubber tiles to protect the floor of the van from various wet intruders (skis, boats, kaykers in wet gear etc.) and provide a bit of cushioning when we camp in the van. I'm going to tape the seams to prevent water seepage into the carpet, and am wondering what folks like for waterproof type tapes.

Obviously Duck tape is out there, but are there any other kinds people use? I was also looking at Tuck tape for vapor barriers/tyvek wrap sealing. Not sure how it's glue does if a bit of water seeps onto it, or how well it will stick to foamy rubber.

Removeability isn't super important. The only time we'd take it out is to wash the mat.

what kind of rubber tiles ?

You can cut out the floor layout to suit and then use urethane to seal the tiles together providing good adhesive qualities and completely waterproof.
