not for a Delica but I made a few of these up for David's and my Safari's.

Gives an idea to the process of making a light but very strong winch/tube bumper.

It weighs in at 75lbs total or 155lbs with an 8274 with synthetic winch rope.

You can adapt the winch cradle to anything, even a low mount point that extends out like the front of the L300's.

It was my first attempt at bending a long tube with 4 point odd angle bends. I ended up just eyeballing it and it turned out really well. Looks like I used a measuring tool. :-D

Total cost was $150 for the materials, $60 for sandblasting, $50 for the POR-15 Chassis Coat black paint and $20 for misc grinding discs/welding gear.

$280 all together per bumper.

Next up is a fiberglass top so we can stand up inside 8-)

And the best part is that I get the more "experienced" and improved version... :-D
I have to say, I usually prefer building my own stuff but how could I argue about some great work! Gives me time to work on other projects... 8-)

Cheers,
Mr. D

You might be asking about the holes to access the 8274 mounting bolts (those on the center of the upper tube)...
