The snow is gone up there - we passed the 25k marker, 20 mile bay etc. Beautiful day - even got a bit of sun :-D

How do you get on to this road? I'm in Harrison often but I have never gone up the west side.

Turn onto Morris Valley Road junction at Sasquatch Inn. Follow Morris Valley Road until it turns into dirt road.

Hi, if you wanna do a day trip, do you have to turn back at some point or you can keep going till you go on some major road?
thanks

For a day trip you would likely turn back and return the same way you came in. If memory serves, the road does go thru and eventually connects to the Duffy Lake Road at the bottom of the "big hill" at Lillooet Lake. There have been some major washouts further out on the Harrison West road so it may still be impassable as a 'loop drive'. If you were going to try, I would plan a weekend trip and be prepared to camp just in case you run into washouts further in and don't have time to return the way you came.

For adventure, there are lots of side roads to discover. Don't venture into gnarly trails without recovery gear or a buddy vehicle tho. It is a looong walk out. This pic is from February 2010 when I had my blue L300. My cousin and I discovered this beautiful viewpoint at the end of a virtually untravelled trail, part of the transmission line service road....
