Muffler help

I built a new 2.25" side exit exhaust for my Delica but did it without a muffler (none in stock). I don't like the way it sounds now (big rig pulling a heavy load) and was curious if anyone knows a good sounding muffler for a diesel. I dont know if there is any real difference between a diesel muffler and a gas one but I am sure the same muffler will make a different noise diesel vs. gas. I loved the Borla's on my Jeep but somehow I dont think the diesel 4cyl will sound as good. By good I mean quiet but mildly throaty.

ohhhh, pictures please:-) I'm thinking of doing this myself, so that I can fit a WVO fuel tank in the spare tire area.

I just got a 2.25" exhaust on mine, I don't know exactly what muffler they used, I just asked them for the one with the best flow... He said it has a straight through design, it's relatively quiet (a bit deeper sounding) but if you floor it or are cruising at high speed there's quite a throaty roar.

I'd like to hear the mufflerless exhaust, don't really want it on my van, but I'm just curious what that sounds like.

Disconnect the pipe where it meets the turbo and start it up, that is what it sounds like. The pipe made very little if any difference. I managed to put a muffler on it now. Just a $25 cheepo but it is now just as quiet as before.
As for pics, I have attached them as files. One with the muffler and one without. (I know there are no hangars yet, I am taking a break before I go out and build them.)

Ok, all I see is a red X. If someone smarter than me wants to tell me how to fix it, I will.

My suspicion is Microsoft. If you are using Microsoft Exploiter (version 6 or 7), you get the red X. If you use Firefox, you see the photos. At least that is so on my computer and two friends'

Yet another reason to switch to Firefox!

I can even tell Firefox to pretend it is Exploiter, and then it can't display the photos either!

Anyone know of anything we can do (besides uploading photos to somewhere and putting in link) to make photos Exploiter-friendly?
