E-Brake Light

My E-brake light is intermittently flashing going around corners etc. It seems to be staying on more as time goes on. Not a big deal but extremely irritating. Anyone else go through this? Is the switch located by the e-brake and would that be the issue?

Thanks for the help................................Kirk out.

you are low on brake fluid in the master cylinder (the light also indicates when the fluid is low). Typically when the pads are low the master is low so it maybe time for brake pads.

cheers

I would have never guessed. That makes complete sense as the front brakes were making a noise like wear indicators.
Do you have common part number for front pads? Are they the same as the Montero of same year?

Need to make a sticky !

Yes !!!!!!!!

Compatible parts between L400 and 94 Montero 3.0L V6

Rear rotors/calipers/pads
Front calipers/pads (rotors are different and will not fit due to L400 having larger inner wheel bearings)

Make this a sticky! I was about to start tearing into my e-brake assembly to fix a sticky sensor when i thought to do a search. cup of brake-fluid and my e-brake light is out...:)
