Hey guys, here's a link to my ongoing Delica project. I have stripped her out and cleaned her to death since buying her 6 weeks ago...

All of the panels were removed and all steel panels inc the rear tailgate were soundproofed with Dynamat style soundproofing, there was then door builds & rear quarter panel builds made by me to take HUGE magnet speakers by Rockford Fosgate (the proper 'old schoo' ones too, none of the modern stuff)

I have more pics to follow with a full DVD system install, double din in the dash plus big flip down screen on roof. There is also a home made amp drawer all fitted with a home made wiring loom etc all installed there now. :-D

Hope this helps?

Spec; Double Din DVD with iPod input, 6" Rockford Fosgate PUNCH 4Ohm Speakers in doors, 4" Rockford Fosgate PUNCH 'Splits' 4Ohm Speakers in lower dash, 6" Rockford Fosgate 8Ohm Speakers in rear quarter panels (for rear 'fill'), 1" Rockford Fosgate 4Ohm Tweeters on 'A Panels' near windscreen, Rockford Fosgate L300-4 4X Channel Amp (75watts x2 front end + 150 watts bridged to Sub) 12" Celestion AD12 Sub in sealed un-ported sub box (filled with acoustic cloth 1.3Litre volume box)

Hope this helps/inspires?

Cheers

Very nice! That's a lot of work.
No need to even mount the ol' school speakers... they just 'stick' in place. Problem is your van might now attract random bits of metal... like parked cars, trucks (lorries) and motorcycles... :-D
Keep the updates coming!
Cheers!

Thanks for all the pics!
I'm in the process of finishing up my install. Last on the list is rear speakers. I haven't taken the rear panel's out yet and am wondering what is the maximum mounting depth one can go while still retaining the stock look. In the front I was surprised how much I could gain by adding a spacer and sheving off the plastic from the back side of the plasic stock speaker grill. I want to go 6" seperates in the rear.

Love it man 8-)

I used to compete in SPL and SQ+, love 90's audio. Build quality was so much better back then lol
