Wiring issue

Hello everyone

My Delica was taken to a shop in Victoria to have the headlights turned into day time running lights. Unfortunately this shop really messed it up and now only one head light works, one high beam, but no other lights work (except for the off road lights which are obviously separate from the rest). None of the dash lights work and the gauges are intermittent. There is obviously a short somewhere but I have no idea where to begin. Does anyone have any ideas where I should start tearing the van apart to find the short? Thanks

For the headlights i would start at the light bulbs i've seen so many Delis with either burned out bulbs or poor ground/negative connections at where the bulb attaches to the headlight housing. For the gauge lights i would look at where they tapped into the light wiring harness ,the usual/easiest place to do that is on the right side of the steering colum just below the bottom edge of the dash. Good luck Jay Tardis Deli

I would take it back to the shop and make them fix it...
