Three more cheers for the guys at Coombs Country Auto

I put a TL:DR at the bottom...but here's the long part.
My struts for my hatch went. I sent them off to Frank at Strutwise. He couriered them back to Nanaimo today, and I got to installing them immediately. Prop rod (read: broomstick) went up, gate sat just fine. Almost installed the 1st one when I realized that Frank had put the wrong mounting bracket on one of my struts. Called him, reboxed the one strut and sent it back. He was totally apologetic and promised to give me priority when he gets it tomorrow.
Installing other strut, something moves and the prop rod (read: broomstick) slips a little. Punches through rear glass. Gate attempts to sever me at the thighs, but thanks to my ninja-like reflexes (and a whole lot of dumb luck), I managed to pivot and get my left arm under the falling gate. Thanks to the tint, there was very little glass, but my shoulder hurts like anything right now.
Call up CCAuto. Glen's father (who's name I can't remember to save my life!) answered and said that yes, he had rear glass in stock at $125. I happened to get a dispatch to Parksville, so I made a little detour on the way and picked it up. Glen was there, always a pleasure to talk to him. I said that Broco had offered to install the new glass for about $65 (one hour shop labour), and he said he could do it in about 5 mins.
Be damned if he didn't too! And all for the price of the glass.
Awesome service once again!
TL:DR - Got glass at Coombs, fantastic service!
