I was wondering if anyone would be interested in, and could make it to, a meet down here. My place has plenty of parking space, but not sure if 12 vehicles would fit I have wanted to get to one of the meets, & since it hasn't worked out so far, I thought I'd see if a meet could come to me

Don't give up on this idea - but, it's just the wrong date, I would say. Canada day is tomorrow (the 1st) and I suspect that not many of us have Monday off.

I wouldn't object to someone coming down on Canada Day! That's my Dad's birthday too! He's getting old! However, due to being such short notice, I have no idea what will be going on then Please let me know if you want to come visit, & I'll try to have something ready

Had a great fireworks show on Lake Ki in Arlington today, wish I'd had some Delicans to watch them with!
I'm not giving up on having a meet in this area, even if I have to make a trip to Burlington! I would love to have a group come to my place sometime, have a little cookout & go find some logging trails to brave nearby!

Took a cruise on the Argosy in Seattle yesterday, & there were 4 busloads of Canadian visitors there by the docks! The cruise was awesome, & I got to see parts of Seattle I hadn't seen before!
