Delica Canada | Mitsubishi Van Club

I'm attending Summit school of guitar building and repair.
All the other students went out to the bluegrass festival in Coombs, but i'm not the partying type, so i stayed at the shop late to work on the archtop guitar i'm building.
I woke up this morning, started pouring my coffee and one of the other students was like "hey man i thought you were gone when i didn't see your van there"
The police have been called, now just hoping it turns up.
It's a 92 Light Blue L300 delica. The bull bars have been stripped of their plastic and painted black. there are stickers on the back some of wich are " dinosaurs are cool", "accordion players give great hugs", "death penalty for bicycle thieves", the mitsumaple sticker and the goat pooping off a roof sticker.
It had a black ribbon magnet that said "no war"
My son drew anarchy symbols and peace signs in the dirt on the back.
There was a six pack of carriboo lager on the seat.

Please keep an eye out?

Shitty luck. I am in Nanaimo and will keep a look out. But leaving a six pack in the van was probably the start of your bad luck.

Sorry to hear about this, I know what it is like to have a vehicle stolen. I hope it turns out as best as possible.

well, there's still no word from the police. now I'm dealing with icbc. we'll see what happens. i'd much rather get the van back.

word of advice. If you can, wait. Do NOT let ICBC buy it from you. They will try everything under the sun to get you to sign the papers over to them.

If you can wait, do it.

If you sign the Delica over to ICBC and it turns up a week later, you're out of luck and cannot buy it back.

They have some rules and guidelines that push them to buy and sell RHD's to wrecking yards no matter the condition of the van.
