People are always asking "what kind of fuel economy does it get?" - well my truck is now on http://www.fuelly.com

It's a simple fuel tracking site, easy interface, and the nice thing is I enter everything in metric units and display it in imperial units. Even better, there is a little switching-between-the-units selector in the upper left corner, so if you don't know what L/100km means you can change it to mpg (US) or mpg (UK).

Lots of Mitsubishis, a bunch of them are Pajeros, but no Star Wagons or Space Gears yet...

Because the are no such options. You can choose between 'space star' and 'Space Wagon' though.

You can create new vehicles.

I just created the Star Wagon and Space Gear models of Mitsubishi, so once those are approved they'll be available for others to use. Don't know how long the approval process takes.

If one wants to create a new model, select the Make, select Other (for model), enter model name and continue to fill out the remaining particulars.

To add the little badge like in my signature line, once a vehicle has been created, there are links for Facebook, Twitter, an RSS feed, and adding an HTML badge to forums at the bottom of the screen. Nice-and-easy, lemon-squeezy!

BTW, my fuel economy is probably going to get better than usual this summer because I'm blending WVO right now - about half-and-half this last fill-up for example. When fuel is free, hey, clean it and use it is what I say.

http://www.fueleconomy.gov will also allow you to track MPG, and share and compare. It is good if you have a type of vehicle that was imported into the USA.

Thanks for posting about fuelly dot com. Such a great way to track many other things other than just fuel economy. But tracking fuel economy is so easy too. It's fun to try and beat "your best" MPG.

On Fuelly you can add friends so you can see how you compare which is kind of cool. Mararmeisto is beating me so far :)

Well if thats the rule I got this gas card from work so my numbers will be way up there haha

My only beef is that it goes strictly by odometer reading.. I have larger than stock tires so my speedo/odo is out by 10% so putting it in by the total Kms isn't accurate. I could do the math each time, but that gets annoying, i might as well graph it myself.

Wow.. last fill I got 9.5L/100kms with a mix of hwy and city, is that even possible? lol I've been trying to keep the boost under 10psi even after increasing the boost and fueling and I seem to be saving alot of fuel. I also run motomaster diesel conditioner/injector cleaner, and a cetane additive which tends to add 75kms/tank.

I could be wrong but I thougt there was a way of entering the fuel efficiency manually, or you just add 10% to your odometer reading. I also have larger tires on my delica and I e gotten as low as 9L/100km with my huge boxes on top (freeway driving at about 80km/hr but have also gone up to 14.5 for offroading. For a swb pajero that seems correct. (sorry, half of that post was a bit off-topic)

When you first add your vehicle you have teh choice of Odometer reading OR Actual Trip Miles/Km. If you plan on padding the numbers due to tire size just go with the actual trip km option. Once you have made your selection I haven't found a way to change it so i think you have to srtat all over again if you selected the odometer reading option.

If you want to change some settings around, just click on your vehicle on the left hand side and then at the top of the page where is shows what car you selected just click "EDIT CAR". From there you can switch between Odometer or Trip, Fuel in Gal or L, Distance in Miles or Kms and so on.

Ok, I had a quick look but I'll try to edit that option again.. If not I'll make another vehicle. I only put in two fills due to the inconvenience.

The lower consumption just stumped me until I considered the lack of spare tire due to repairs and the recent long blasts on the hwy that may have helped clean the injectors. ( I think Im going to become a BCAA queen and leave the spare off in the city)
