Pretty unlikely (virtually impossible) for brushes, diodes, regulator to go at same time, no? <--- rhetorical. Probably better to start with brushes (most common and very cheap/easy) or actually troubleshoot the component rather than replace 2 other components unnecessarily.

Maybe a good option if unable to troubleshoot I guess.

Just adding experiences............

Maybe something better for that kind of price, would be a build up kit boosting the final available amperage........... 90 or 120? available? or local shop type of thing only?
