Repairs (in the South Okanagan)

Hi everyone,
I think my last obstacle before purchasing a Delica is to convince my wife and mother-in-law (not that it's any of _her_ business ...) that the Delica is reliable and that most major and minor repairs are able to be performed locally, and that parts are not too difficult to obtain.
After scanning the forum, I feel pretty confident that repairs won't be an issue. On the other hand, we live in the Southern Okanagan (Similkameen), near Keremeos, and we're not mechanically inclined. I guess we're (or they're) worried that if something (serious) goes wrong we'll be forced to tow our vehicle into Vancouver to a specialized mechanic for repairs.
Are there any mechanics in the Southern Okanagan familiar with the Delica?
Well, thanks for responding.
