L400 front passenger 360* swivel seat (gauging interest)

I am gauging to see if there is any interest in a group buy in the future for this modification.
It is a simple 15min bolt-on application.
I've been having people ask how to do it, can it be done easily, etc...
If there is enough interest, I can have this Mitsubishi 360 degree revolving base for the L400 passenger seat replicated/fabricated locally.
I have the only one in Canada that I am aware of and it would be a great addition to any L400 for the versatility and extra room/config.

I would be interested in one. The only thing to make sure of is if it will work in my ride as I have a cd changer under the passenger seat. And the price of course. How much do you think will it cost?

Not sure on cost. I have to source the swivel bearing plate first.
You would have to loose the CD player as the swivel base is bolted to the bottom of the stock passenger seat and the bottom section is bolted to the four anchor points where the stock seat bolts into the floorboard.

Nothing's impossible. I think you'd have to somehow dip the engine cover to give more room to install a plate so the seat level doesn't rise though. That would be a VERY custom job. Then you would either have to open the door before rotating or do more custom work to get the seats closer together and move the pedals and steering column over as well. Even if you were to do this you'd still have to walk around the vehicle to get in the side door so that you could use the rotated seat. Not so good if it's raining.

Me too; I'd just like to know if ICBC is ok with mods to seats like this. Would be looked at after an accident if there were injuries involved.
