Hopeless bushings.

Hi all, i have been hunting for upper control arm bushings for a long time now. What do all of you guys use and where do you get it? Here in europe its hopeless to get original parts for the delica/L300, and the parts they can get cost 1/3 of the car.

Thinking about just making my own poly bushings, eventhou i have no experience in doing this. Think i found some that are suppose to work, SuperPro Control Arm Bush Kit ( SPF1423K). Not sure if these are correct, but giving it a go.

But realizing after a lot of wasted time, that im probably better off making my own. As the bushings for the engine mounts are equally expensive.

Would appriciate any help, tips or guides anyone could contribute with.

Love the car, but hate the super pricey parts :-(

Have you tried going to the wreckers (søppelplass)?

You could order them from places in western Canada, like Amazing Autos; CC Autos; CVI Automotive ~ or perhaps Australia, like Delica Shop. I have no idea what it would cost.

Have visited the wreckers here in norway, but not much to brag about. Especially considering that most of the Delicas here have done 100 000km or more than my one has. So not much of the bushings to salvage there. Have checked the delica shop without success, but will try to check out the ones you mentioned, thanks =)
