I am not looking forward to the massive amount of snow being rammed into the rad fan. It looks like a shovel and up here it will be. A grate or mesh panel covering may help or will it? Lots of pictures of Deli's in the snow, does it melt fast enough? Planning for the minus temps.

while a mesh up there is probably a good idea to keep out summer debris, I doubt it would do anything to keep snow out... I went last winter without anything, but I also didn't push through any deep snow... one thing I have learned however is that these vehicles are capable of all sorts of things we wouldn't think, there are certainly parts that look fragile or problematic, but then you see the abuse people put them through and they always come out of it driving, so I'm really not all that worried.
