Removing rear karaoke controls

I've seen threads asking if the karaoke machine can be used with a new stereo but none on how to remove it. I saw superexceeded's when it was apart and it looked like you have to take off the whole wall panel. Unfortunately I don't have a photographic memory so can anyone point me in the direction of a thread that covers this or give a short explanation of what needs doing?
Thanks

You do have to pull the side panel off. Remove the heater control buttons (pull off), Undo the phillips screws at the fan ducts. Pop off one corner (there are little 3/4" plastic body plugs that pop into a small hole in the metal body) with a flat screw driver/object wedged behind the panel and follow along the edges until the whole thing pops out. The plugs are about 12 inches apart from each other. Then you can access the wiring to the auxiliary (karaoke) unit.
Sure you want to ditch it ? It's quite the lady impressor !

Thanks Jesse! I think the ladies will be more impressed with the additional area to put make-up and such.

Search for a thread by Mystery Machine - he gutted that whole section a while back. Also, check DinoEVO's site, he might have some pictures of how he removed all that "junk" and put in a water heater and something else.
