Picked this up at Sierra Trading Post in the states last week
Kelty Carport Deluxe $220
It has two positions , up as a canopy or down as a tent /vestibule
It is made to clip on to a roof rack but I made some clips for a ratcheting tiedown that hooks onto my rain gutters
Works awesome , it also has extra guys and stakes for windy conditions

Re: Van tent
What did that poor ruler ever do that get cut and bent up like that?
Nifty shelter, though. Wind force durability? Awning position? Vestibule setting? Price in Ameristani dollars or Canadian?

Re: Van tent
good show
We were going to grab one of these but the ARB ended up on the truck instead.
They are good. Only con can be remedied with a bit of reinforcing.

Re: Van tent
Good review find Jesse , I didn't realize it could be set up without a vehicle too.
Paul it was US$ sale price, I have shopped at Sierra Trading Post online before , It's a dangerous place to be in person with credit card.
I won't go on about the Army surplus stores stateside , they have too much.
The aluminum framing square had it coming , it was more of a triangle.
