Loon Lake Lodge

Post by jevans »

I was hired to make some photos of Loon Lake Lodge in Maple Ridge this past weekend. My wife, some friends and I decided to make it a day trip packed a lunch and headed off. I was told the last ten kms was logging road which I figured would be a good first off road experience for the Delica. It turns out this is a private property and after a lenghty wait for a code to open the gate we were on our way.

We arrived a short time later to discover there wasn't another person around. We had the lake to ourselves!. What a pristine spot, the lake is crystal clear and clean. We had some lunch on the dock, took a swim and enjoyed the beautiful September sunshine. I've attached a few shots of the location and also some of the Delica posing in front of the lake.
