Hello everyone, nice to quasi meet you!
I'm new to the Canadian Delica gang as I just bought a 1995 Delica Spacegear, but did have a 1991 Delica Super Exceed when I lived in Australia a few years ago.
Can't wait to go from driving on beaches to driving in snow with the new van, as we will need it for filming a few outdoor scenes for some little Johnny Canuck movies we make in the Kamloops area. If you want to check them out they are at http://www.johnnycanuckfilms.com
We bought our van from Rising Sun Auto Import in Vancouver and were extremely impressed with how they dealt with us, the quality of vans they had for sale and the general honour and respect in purchasing our van. We looked around at private sellers as well as other dealers, and felt Rising Syn was by far the best option...so if you're reading this Rising Sun, you rule! And thanks again for everything.
Our new van has 6 inch lifts and oversized tires, a crystal lite roof, no rust, immaculate interior and even a functioning original japanese mini disc player. We'll post a site with pictures soon and will contribute any knowledge we have ( we have lots from our "white lemon" in Australia which ended in +$5k in repairs in one year, but we still loved it), or updates to our new van as we own it. We are getting a block heater installed soon as well as a trailer hitch.
Thanks and hello again everybody, happy to be a member of such a cool and kind society.
