Saw this video the other day, very impressive stuff! I don't think I've ever seen a guitarist use his machine heads to play a melody before.

They'd play acoustics really well

I play as well, but I am really a bass player. Electric and upright. I went to school with some pretty amazing classical guitar players who can toss of a Rodrigo concerto like nothing. I played a gig with the Canadian Guitar quartett, (I was in the Orchestra), and they blew me away!! There is some really good talent on this soil!!

It's a jumbo Larrivee and it's been beat to crap, but sounds super deep and bassy! Just need more skilz...

Been playing since high school. Mostly bass as I dig that funky groove. I have also worked for many years as an audio engineering tech, both live and studio. I have worked with tons of really talented Canadians. Maybe is climate, or the diversity, or the big open country we have; whatever it is keep on jamming!

Which studio did you work at?

Thanks for that Falco! Its been a while since I've been re-inspired on the acoustic. Love his clean tuning peg bends and flawless loops, very talented indeed.

I've been playing on and off well over a decade now, dabbling in keys, drums and stints singing, not a great singer though.

We should get some of our skills together for a JDM jam sometime. Acoustic or electric welcome.


Theres an open blues jam at the Cottage Bistro Saturday on Main St, I'll probably be there tonight if anyone wants to join.
