Going for it

Soo after reading lots and thinking about it, Im making the decision to go for a dual tank wvo setup.
Ive got good local connections for oil... and a 93 deli that is killing it so far in the 2 months weve been together.
Did 5000 km in the states snowkiting in the last month with no major issues and one oil change to 5w 40 for the colder air...
Im going to order the full kit and tank from Andrew H and attempt to install it myself asap while I have the time and money...
what should I do before I jump on this train? Id like to check the rad out... maybe get it serviced... sometimes she gets hot going up hills, but I just take it slow... is it a good idea to get a full checkup/tuneup before i commit to wVO? Should I try mixing it in with diesel first? Im feeling pretty happy just going for it... but I thought id ask.
Its going to be a winter deli living in rossland in the west koots... so everythings gotta be good to go in the cold...
Thanks for any help/advice...
Duncan
