You've got a lovely L-300 of my favourite vintage, and with slider windows too - Very nice! :-)

I agree with Konadog, she's a pretty wagon. I think the lug nuts are a nice touch, indeed. Is that a two metre aerial running off your forward driver's mirror bracket?

Falco.

Hi,it is,but its not connected to anything now.
It is used like the proverbial cat's whiskers,if it goes through the van will as it's a couple of inches higher
than the roof high point, dead handy in UK to see if you can get into a carpark under the height barriers as the height signs can be misleading.

That's right,I am in UK where I am resident and on leave, but work in the Falklands for 6 months at a time.
I had Mitsi FI first for a couple of years, then when home on leave I met a guy who was selling his '93 L300.
She became Mitsi UK,the one in the pics.
If you go back on members rides you'll find pics of Mitsi FI.
20th October 2008 Christine(your partner I assume)commented on Mitsi FI then.

Looks more like a cb antenna cut down for 2m, good idea as a cats whisker though ;-)

It works is the main thing, lot cheaper than a scraped roof, especially a Chrystalite one.

Yeah for sure, i have a ding from a heathrow car park i tried to get in, and in bournemouth i tried to get in a 2.2m car park which wasnt, which made a horrible noise but virtually no damage, it lifted the barrier slightly and the scraping was on the roof ridges not the panel. But i have a hi roof, no glass, which i prefer for that reason alone!
