I was afraid that was what he meant... but you're right for very little cost, it is a viable alternative.

I've got some L400 flares that I bought as part of a group buy last summer. I've been so busy that I haven't got around to putting them on the van and I'm moving to Yellowknife in a few weeks. I don't think I'll find time to put them on before that and I don't want to drag them up there and then find a place where I can paint them etc. so I would consider selling them for what I paid for them. They are the Delicashop.com ones.

Personally I would go with Garden Edging over flares because painted pretty flares and bush have not ever worked out for me...Depends how you use your rig....

Agreed 100% If you do get flares and use it in the bush, go for fiberglass. At least that way WHEN you crunch them, they bend back in place and typically don't fall off etc.
