hi trent, thanks again for piloting us to island highway duh, dark and and that area is HUGE. trip home was great, steering the delica at highway speed is so straight and solid feeling like a full size MOTORCOACH! and takes the bumps at high speed like TRAIN suspension.i'm not exgagerating its an amazing vehicle. no comparison with other vans. PLEASE tell me what that little eye mounted on dash behind steering wheel left side is for. a wire disapears. is it a temp sensor? see ya >> john

Folks, my Delica is sold. Thanks for all your calls and e-mails.

John, I have no idea of what that little "eye" thing is. I suspect it was part of the gps system that was in the van when I got it. I didn't remove it or cut the wires as I didn't want to create a short in the system.

Glad to hear that you made it home in 1 piece. In some ways, I am a bit sad that I had to sell the beast. One day, I'll get another one but in the meantime, I'll rip up the road in the Exterra.
