Guys
What is the difference in size between the front rotor of the 95 L400 and a 95Montero.
Numerous cautions are given to not use the montero rotor but I couldn't find a size difference.
Hmmmm?
thanks

Hi Wayne
Here you go
The Montero/Pajero rotor physically cannot fit on an L400 hub because the L400 has a tapered hub with a larger inner shaft and wheel bearing.
Year does not matter.
L400 front rotors and inner wheel bearings/races are proprietary to the L400 1994 onwards.
Cheers

* The axle hub is different on the L400's. It is thicker on the inner section hence the larger diameter wheel bearing.

hi, wayne,
as jessie say montero front rotor wont fit L400,
did try this before nearly 3 years now but wont work.
now there is 2 type of rotor for L400, try to buy the one with holes on the side, not the one without holes on the side.
as the one without the holes on the side will catch the mud and dirt thru the rotors and might soon destroy your caliper and seal when the mud dries in that rotor.
in japan they used the one with the hole on the side.
might as well do the re[ack on your front hub when you do this work.
cheers;
Mardy
