I've noticed an intermittent squeak sound coming from my driver-side axle/wheel area. I think its brake related as it squeaks with every rotation of the wheel. Strangely, it disappears as the vehicle speeds up. My naive thinking is that there is something going on with calipers/rotors/pads. When the pads are cold, they sqeak with every turn; when it heats up, there is more space and they no longer rub.
I have an uncanny ability to have my pants pulled down at repair shops. I dont plan on fixing this myself, but I would like to go in with an reasonably informed problem statement and potential cause. Any insight would be tremendously appreciated.
I have some photos of my front driver wheel. There is some curious oil that collects in the rim. I thought it might be brake related, but its in front of the brakes (something else... great

Thank you again!
Jamie.
