Hello.
I thought i best introduce myself, as i've been lurking on the site for the past few weeks whil ei was deciding if a Delica would be a good vehicle for me. Since then i found a nice 1996 SWB exceed in white that i thought was quite clean, and in good shape.
I picked it up last night, so i don't have a lot of time driving it. I'm ok with the RHD, as i've been in a few before, i'm just not used to being up so high, as well as the pitch and yaw in the tight corners! I'm fresh out of an impreza wagon, so it's not quite the same beast.

I definately need a hitch on it, but other then that its pretty good for what i want out of van.

Cheers
Kyle

Welcome Kyle. :M

If you find it bobbing side to side too much, you can do a few things.

Ditch the stock shocks and install gas charged (procomp or bilstein) shocks
Tighten up the torsion bars just enough to make the front end a little stiffer - alignment required after

Cheers
Jesse

Thanks.
Right now i think it's just cause i'm up so high. this is by far the largest vehicle i've ever owned. mostly old beetles, a 91 firefly and my subie. it might be more of my 'power cornering' technique that i need to modify!

thanks for the info, and i'll be checking back often!

After getting a 2" lift on my exceed I corner like I used to in my mini cooper s......well maybe not, but it made a huge difference. The lift kit came from Jesse and was installed at cvi

Just out of interest, was it you I talked in the sunnycrest mall in gibsons a while back. I spoke to a person who drove a subie and was on his way to VAncouver to look at delis
