Squealing

Hi all,
My delica L300 starts fine, a tad rough but smooths out. As it warms up a squeal starts up, only after driving around. The warmer the more prominent. It is not constant only while idling, As I increase RPM's it stops. After hill and I stop it is real bad.
I know my turbo leaks a bit, I have to get it rebuilt and seals replaced. Other than that, I have put belt dressing on, and the sound sound like its coming from under the van, not the engine area.
Any help would be great, I am planning going a on a big road trip next few days, and want to make sure I wont get stuck anywhere
Thanks!

behind a keyboard impossible to tell it is
possible checks for you:
water pump bearing failing
alternator bearing failing
power steering pump failing
crank shaft pulley failing
belts slipping
check them all, especially the crank shaft pulley. That one failing on the road can lead to a blown engine

I have a little squeal from time to time as well. What's the best way to eliminate each of these options to find the one that might be causing the noise?

Missed one in the list which is the one I had, AC idler bearing worn, and to check its easy, take the AC belt off, and the idler, see if it has play and see if the squeal goes away, my AC idler also came loose and chirped as it hit tits mount occasionally. This is an easy check.

to pin point each belt do you just remove each one at a time and start the van to see if the noise goes away?

Sounds like squeeky belts .I had an annoying squeek at idle as well tightened alt and pwr steering belts ,solved. Pain in the ass you will have to remove the drivers seat and push the floor pan up out of the way.

Remove for the power steering belt? Also I think one of my alt belts is newer than the other, I read that swapping both belts at the same time is best..? Could one of the alt. belts be more slack than the other causing the little chirp from time to time?

Changing both belts together is usually recomended and then keep the old belts in the car for emergency. My front alt belt was also slightly slacker more then the back. If there is half an inch of play in any of your belts i beleive that is ok just tighten them a little more. If one belt is heaps more slacker then the other replace them both.

Top tip on replacing pairs, fit ,tighten, go drink beers, watch a shoddy film, Tremors is highly recomended, more beers, crash out, wake up and tighten the belts again. This saves you from having to redo them all in 2 weeks as the tighter belt stretches initially.
