Hey everyone...I just bought my first pajero last month and I LOVE IT. It's a 1991 lwb with all the b&w's. It's only short comings are the front sits low, the rear bounces (bad shocks for sure), sun roof is stiff, slight wobble in steering wheel (alignment), and that's about it.
Have a few modifications to do...
1st: Suspension upgrades. 1.5" - 2" lift, 300kg constant load coils, front torsion bars. Or just level the ride out cuz the front sits low and the back sits high
2nd: Tires. Not sure what I'm going to get though but something taller and skinnier. No wide tires
3rd: Engine tuning. Looking for aftermarket intercooler for the diesel engine, EGR removal, 2.5" turbo back straight pipe, snorkel. Also will add more engine gauges: pryometre, oil pressure, turbo boost.
4th: Interior mods. Remove 3rd row seating, build camping cabinets (fridge/cooler, stove, sink, and storage) arrange a sleeping arrangement of sorts (have yet to work out options) build a folding table that attaches to rear door. Recover front seats with a more breathable material (currently has vinal)
5th: Exterior mods. ARB bush bumper (anyone got one kicking around?), roof racks, remove running boards, build Jerry can holder to go over rear tire, fog lights replaced, new antenna, some other small stuff too.
So excited I found a Canadian Mitsubishi
