So I'm new to the whole pajero thing. I feel like I'm going to the dark side or coming from the dark side. One or the other haha. Been a Toyota guy forever but thought I'd give that ole pajero a try. I love it. Done lots of online research, talked to Mitsubishi 4d56t owner at the surrey kal tire. Kind of know the ins and outs and what I'd like to do to my truck.

First things first. Who sells EGR deleting kits. I would love to purchase a set. Does somebody make them with the pyro fitting installed as well.

Second. Intercoolers. I have not been able to find any aftermarket examples to increase airflow and give more cooling. I did find a company that could possibly do a custom job. Mine needs to be replaced as the fins are bent and I'm not certain of its state of working order

Third. Lift kits or ideas. Right now the front sits low and the back bounces pretty good. Obviously needs new shocks but before I start on that I'd like to do a lift at the same time. Maybe Crank the torsion bars up to fix the ride height at first and see if the truck looks tall enough. If not a 1.5 inch lift would be on the menu and some slightly taller tires. I know Arb makes kits but so expensive

That's all that's on the mod list for now...can't wait to get started on it

Well I am going to be making up a new stainless set of blank off plates for my Pajero with the Pyro hole tapped so I could make a second if you wish.

As for your intercooler fins....just open a beer.... sit down in front o the TV with intercooler on your lap and a small control screwdriver and start picking the fins out one by one till they are all straight. Then take it to a rad shop and they can dip it and clean it out for $50 or $60 bucks. It will have a coasting of oil inside from your PCV dumping oil into your intake. This film will lower your heat transfer. You can also get water cooled intercooler's off the web but that adds load to your cooling system so try at own risk.
Oh and a good idea is to remove the PCV tube that comes from your valve cover from the air intake and pipe it into an oil catch can. Keeps things cleaner and then just vent it to atmosphere.

I just did a "lift kit" OME by ARB and I bought mine through a place in Seattle and had it shipped to TSB shipping in Point Roberts. Each shock was $99 and the springs were $155 for the two plus $25 for shipping. Far cheaper than NSOR and CapIt. It was an easy install but NO your rear break line is NOT long enough to let your rear axle drop to allow the springs to come out so disconnect it first. It will be on tight. It rides way better. And yes I went with the Nitro Sport not the Nitro. So far so Awesome!!!
