Crazy Aussies!!!

Post by FredVenne »

Good evening everyone,

A good friend of mine is in Australia and saw this Delica, took some photos and send'em to me. I thought it would be fun to share them with you as well and see what you guys/girls think about'em.
I personnaly think that this van must be very unstable. And I was curious to see the inside but... who likes having people peeking in their van taking photos? I don't... I also noticed that he/she got a pop-up top. Maybe that is why the van is set that way.

Anyway, enjoy!

Fred

P.S. Hopefully I will not create any crisis with this post. If I do, I did not meant it. I feel like walking on eggs everytime I come in. So if you have any fingers to wag, do it privatly.

Might be a swing rack.

Unlikely they even open the rear hatch any more, what with all that gear in the way. I'd love to see photos of everything exposed/opened up/swung out.

I'm wondering, what is the white panel on the left side of the vehicle?

The bar, for 16hrs martini time.

I have been looking at the rear picture and it looks like it's a swing out affair ~ looks as though there are hinges at the bottom of the aluminium box and just above the top of said box.

Craig, with a setup like that, who knows how it all fit and open and all. But you're right, I did not saw your sarcasm hehehe. The other thing that bothers me is the front rack. And yes I would totally want to see this whole van. Maybe I should post it on the Delica Aussi site. We'll find out!

The white thing due to its location under the awning might be a hatch that opens to pass food through while cooking. It cant be opening to a compartment on the other side or else the door wouldn't open. Looks like a trap door that drops down to a small table for passing things through while someone is set up cooking away inside. Who knows...

..maybe its a doggy door?
