How should I wire my DRL power?

I recently foud that my existing DRL getup was causing power drain on my centre console. The power supply wire for the light relay was piggybacked right in to the radio fuse (see photo).
If I disconnect the line, my centre console woes disappear. Of course, it leaves me without running lights.
Can anyone suggest an alternate place for me to connect the DRL power line?
If any more info is needed to help answer the question please let me know.
Thank you kindly
Jamie

I should mention that the getup is hooked into the low beam lights. I don't have any additional running lights.

Easiest is to move the parasite tap to another fuse that is hot on run and see how it goes. The fact that it is causing issues in its current location is the odd rather than the norm, usually they work with no fuss no muss. Make sure the tap (and/or the fuse) do not have any corrosion that could be causing connection issues and make sure everything is fitting in the socket properly.
*Also I am assuming that this parasite tap is just connected as a trigger to a relay that it powering the lights, not providing the power directly...because that would very likely cause issues.

This has actually got me wondering - what's the usual way of wiring this? (if there is such a thing)
I suppose you can run 12V through the contacts of a NC relay to the DRL bulbs, then trigger the relay with 12V off of the normal headlight circuit, killing the DRLs when the normal headlights get turned on.

Thanks for the input! For the time ring I will just try the tap on another fuse. It is connected to a relay, but it was making bizzare clicking noises so perhaps it's broken.
In the near future, I am going to ditch the stock headlight DRL and go for and led solution. I was pointed towards a good thread in here that has it all covered. Sorry I don't have the link handy.
